Playing with “our best friend”.
It has always been said that pets are man’s best friend. But if we go further, some animals can become rehabilitative therapists and why not, also assistants for children with disabilities.
As is well known, at a therapeutic level, animals such as dogs are very beneficial for children with cerebral palsy, autism… The therapy with this type of animals is favourable both physically, psychically and socially for the children.
Interaction with dogs for children with autism means an improvement of social skills, although at first it may seem the opposite due to the absence of oral communication.
