Sensory stimulation workshop

Workshop “Get to know your baby”

Early childhood care is based on the idea that each child is unique and has individual needs, so they should be treated in a personalised way to ensure their balanced development and to meet their specific needs. In addition, early childhood services are not only designed to help children, but also their families and caregivers, providing them with emotional support and offering them information and tools to be able to care for and educate their children at home.

Target group: Babies from 0-6 months together with their parents.
Duration of the workshop: 50 minutes.
Number of participants: 7 children maximum with their parents.

Objectives:

  • To learn the tools necessary to identify and address the developmental needs of their children from the earliest stages of life.
  • To promote the physical, emotional, social and also cognitive development of children.
  • To provide information and guidance to parents on how to stimulate their children’s development at home.
  • Promote early detection of any possible developmental problems and refer children to additional services if necessary.
  • To help parents understand and manage their children’s behaviour and needs.
