The city of Salamanca witnessed a transforming event full of joy with the realization of the CAMPANEED Summer Camp, organized by the FUNDANEED Foundation. This camp, which took place during the month of July, was consolidated as a space for inclusion, learning and fun for children and young people with special educational needs.
The camp, held at the facilities of the LUIS VIVES municipal center in Salamanca, was attended by a large number of children and young people from Salamanca. Over the course of four weeks, participants enjoyed a wide range of activities designed to foster their personal, social and emotional development, always in a safe and accessible environment.
Among the outstanding activities were art, music, robotics and micro-theater workshops, which allowed participants to express their creativity and develop communication and teamwork skills. Sports activities, adapted to the abilities of each child, and cooperative games, promoting physical activity and the spirit of collaboration.
The FUNDANEED Foundation, committed to the inclusion and well-being of children and youth with special educational needs, ensured that each activity was accessible and adapted to the individual needs of the participants. A multidisciplinary team of professionals, including pedagogues, psychologists, speech therapists, music therapists, occupational therapists, (…) provided constant and personalized support.
The success of the CAMPANEED Summer Camp in Salamanca is a testament to the commitment and dedication of the FUNDANEED Foundation to promote the inclusion and well-being of children and young people with special educational needs. The positive response from participants and their families has reaffirmed the importance of this type of initiative and has laid the groundwork for future editions.
