The Fundación para la Ayuda a la Infancia y Adolescencia en las Necesidades Especiales del Desarrollo (FUNDANEED) has carried out a successful workshop aimed at children from 6 to 12 years old, with the purpose of strengthening their social skills.
This innovative workshop combined cooking and art therapy sessions, achieving not only to meet the objectives set, but also to generate an atmosphere of joy and participation among attendees. Through these activities, group cohesion and personal initiative were fostered, and the children’s autonomy and decision-making skills were strengthened.
The success of the workshop has led to the decision to schedule more sessions for the next course, due to the satisfactory and beneficial results for the children who attended. In addition, FUNDANEED has valued and taken into account the opinions and ideas proposed by the users, which reinforces its commitment to inclusive and participatory care.
This achievement highlights the importance of inclusive and creative methodologies in the development of social skills in children with special needs, underlining FUNDANEED’s crucial role in promoting a fuller and more autonomous childhood and adolescence.
