During this coming Holy Week, the procession “Ilusión” of the Borriquilla will be a procession accessible to everyone.
The Brotherhood of “Jesús Amigo de los Niños” has worked hard together with the AM Virgen Vega and the Aviva Foundation to create the project that this year will see the light and whose main objective is the accessibility of all people to the procession of Ramos.
To this end, informative posters have been created which include everything related to the procession and which can be downloaded using practical QR codes located along the entire route during the morning of Palm Sunday and equipped with pictograms, easy-to-understand reading and audios.
Three main pillars have been taken into account for the elaboration of this project: the religious, achieved through small biblical quotations; the cultural, through the music and the marches that will be performed, which in turn are dedicated to each and every one of the Brotherhoods of Salamanca on the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of the designation of Holy Week of International Tourist Interest; and the social, the most important, achieved through the Brotherhood’s intention that everyone who comes to see the procession can enjoy it without limitations.
In addition, as has already been done in a pioneering way in Salamanca, the silent section in Libreros Street will continue to help children with ASD, hearing hypersensitivity, among others, to enjoy the procession.
