Therapeutic pedagogy refers to the Special Education Teacher who works with students with special educational needs in different areas, depending on the student’s needs and the educational response required.

The basis of a correct educational response according to the special needs of the students and the degree of development of their abilities, will allow us to carry out an intervention based on the rigor and quality of a XXI century education, which will culminate with the development, implementation and monitoring of the educational response.
Within the difficulties that these students may present, the agenda is composed of students with visual, auditory, motor and mental deficiencies, precocious, talented and gifted students, as well as the evolutionary development in the different areas of infant and primary education: motor, affective, social and linguistic.
Behavioral problems also occupy a space in the syllabus of the specialty, as well as the special educational needs of students with autism.
