Treatment and rehabilitation

Rehabilitation is the set of procedures, activities and interventions aimed at restoring, maintaining or improving physical, psychological, mental or social functionalities so that patients can perform their daily routines optimally. This will allow them to achieve maximum autonomy and increase interaction with their environment.

Simply put, rehabilitation helps children, adults or the elderly to be as independent as possible in their day-to-day lives and enables them to participate in educational, work or recreational activities or to carry out the tasks that give meaning to their lives. This is done by treating conditions and improving the way a person functions on a day-to-day basis, supporting them in overcoming any difficulties they may have in understanding, seeing, hearing, communicating, feeding or getting around.
